Charge Air Hose-Turbo to Intercooler-Type B 54mm 2002- 2003Short hose from Turbo to Intercooler.
This hose is only used on vehicles that have had a replacement intercooler with the smaller diameter hose fittings. The earlier version has an ID of 63 mm, approx 2 1/2 inches.
Before ordering this hose, check the inside diameter on the intercooler end. This hose has an I.D. of 54 mm (approximately 2 1/8 inches).

Charge Air Hose-Turbocharger to Intercooler 2004-2006Air induction hose from Turbocharger to Intercooler
ID of this hose at the intercooler connection is 54mm or 2 1/8 inches
This Hose is under very high boost pressure from the Turbocharger. When Installing this hose, clean all of the oil off of the fittings at each end very thoroughly prior to putting the hose in place. Using a degreaser, such as Simple Green, is suggested. Tighten the hose clamps at each end and bring the engine up to operating temperature. You should re-tighten the hose clamps several times after installation to insure that the hose does not blow off the fittings at some point in the future.
