IMPORTANT: One of the biggest issues with higher mileage engines is oil starvation at the center cartridge of the turbo. The oil feed and oil return tubes become restricted over time, due to "oil coking". The turbo rotates at up to 280,000 RPM's and you do not want a lubrication problem at this point of your engine, as it will cause premature failure of the turbocharger. You can see the oil feed and oil drain tubes and related gasket, grommet, seal rings and hollow bolt that are used with these tubes below. We strongly suggest replacing both of these oil tubes and all of the seals, when replacing the turbocharger.
