Not for Metris, which does not have a fill tube/dipstick tube. Fluid level on the Metris may be checked electronically, or by the "overflow tube" method

Sprinter II 2014-2016 4 CYL engine models
Sprinter III 2017-2023 4 CYL engine models
The transmission dipstick is not meant to remain in vehicle during regular operation. It is strictly a service tool and is to be removed each time after usage.
