The transmission dipstick is not meant to remain in vehicle during regular operation. It is strictly a service tool.
SOME SPRINTERS HAVE A DIPSTICK TUBE LONGER THAN OTHERS. THIS DIPSTICK IS EXTRA LONG TO ALLOW IT'S USAGE ON ALL SPRINTER MODELS. DIPSTICK WILL NOT COMPLETELY ENTER THE TUBE.
SIMPLY INSERT THE DIPSTICK UNTIL IT BOTTOMS OUT, THEN TAKE YOUR READING. DO NOT FORCE THE DIPSTICK PAST THE STOPPING POINT OR YOU WILL GET AN INCORRECT LEVEL READING.
SERVICE TOOLS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
