Supersedes the original horn, which has been discontinuedby Mercedes.
The new horn requires a short wiring harness to adapt this to your vehicle and must be spliced at the time of installation (see harness below)
To install: Plug the new harness into horn, and cut the larger plug off the opposite end. Then, cut the plug off the end of the vehicle wire harness and slice the two wires together, using electrical tape to insulate the connections. (Despite the bizarre sound of these instructions, they are straight from Mercedes Benz)

5 pin relay, body of relay is half-size, not a cube, and may be either black or grey.
Multiple uses, including Daytime Running Lights. Common replacement item and found in various areas of the vehicle. There are approximately ten of these relays used in multiple locations on all Sprinter models.
Used only for the REAR cargo doors. Interfaces with contact plate shown below. Electrical contact, used for the door lock actuator and heated rear window element.
This part was previously produced in two versions, two electrical posts (631 820 09 54) and three electrical posts, depending upon how your van was equipped. The two post version has been discontinued by Mercedes and superseded by the three post version. You simply leave the center contact terminals blank.
Found throughout the vehicle, Mercedes calls it a "DISTRIBUTOR". We ordered these at the request of a customer. Simply find the part number on old part to verify this is the correct item you need. Mercedes# 004 546 82 40
