This is the most common mechanism but there are different versions depending upon the vehicle package. You can verify by finding the part number stamped on the unit.
This latch is located at the FRONT EDGE of the right side sliding door.
This latching mechanism is internal and is not visible from the outside of the door. (The inside and outside handles are at this end).
