1997-2000 models were fitted with two different types of front calipers and each uses a different style of brake pad.

Caliper Hints:
Hint #1: Type of front brake pads can be different, so the caliper manufacturer is important. Hint #2: 1992-1996 models use only Lucas Girling calipers. Hint #3: 1997-1999 models use either Lucas Girling & Ate. You must check your vehicle. Hint #4: Lucas Girling calipers use rectangular shaped brake pads held by two retaining pins. Hint #5: Ate calipers use fan shaped brake pads with "ears". (See photo above)
